In the third of its unification conference the Eritrean Democratic Alliance has approved, after a full day discussion, the political charter that was presented by the Preparatory Committee. The Charter that consists of an introduction and five chapters has approved using all available means of struggle.

EDA unification conference elects its secretariat [2008-05-07] | Addis Ababa: ECMS delegate
The unification conference of the Eritrean Democratic Alliance has elected a secretariat of seven members headed by Dr. Habte Tesfamariam. The conference also elected Mr. Adam Ismael AbuAlhareth and Mr. Nur Idris AbuIdris as vice chairmen of the secretariat, while Mr. Tesfahune Mesfen, Mr. Mohammad Saleh Ibrahim and Mr. Hamid Derar have been elected as rapporteurs of the secretariat.
